Sevid

I've just got into a place called Sevid - small weekend retreat nearby Split. It's really a very quiet place, since couple of years ago it had no running water, electricity or telephone.

Now, I am blogging via the UMTS T-Mobile USB stick. Web-addiction has spread all over the world, leaving no intact places behind. It's obvious that now I can think about business issues only as something in a distant, foggy horizon. Most important issue is food and decision about it – fish or meat.

Nearby my house, we have a small grill house. It's only for the purpose of gastro-entertainment while we are here. It's either grilled meat or fish every day on our menu. It was easier in the past to catch some fish yourself, but now lot more convenient is to visit the fish market. Extremely fast developments of tourism and relatively weak regulations have deserted the underwater life in Adriatic Sea.

In Rogoznica (another place nearby) is the best butcher shop in this area. All kind of meat can be found there and it’s really hard to make a wrong choice.

Anyhow, this is the place with beautiful weather, rocky beach and great food. Friends are coming almost every day, and we just keep the grill warm – as some kind of restaurant for free. I love this no-planning approach to vacation.

For this purpose, I’ll only post some pictures this time and leave the business discussions for some other occasion….
